Heavy Asphalt is a small solo game I made where you drive a car in 3rd person around a small track circuit versus other AI opponents. Aside from the car and terrain models as well as all textures this game was developed entirely by myself, including the track. I learned a lot from it about setting up mixed lighting and about the post-processing stack in Unity. I made decent car controls with wheels traction and suspension and implemented a “creative” way for the AI to move around the track using Unity’s navmesh and toggling a rigidbody whenever the cars collisioned with the player. I also made a minimap that only renders specific layers.
